Mother’s Day article about…. ME!!!
A local Suburban Chicago paper interviewed me for their Mother’s Day centerpiece story. It’s very strange to look at a paper and see yourself on the cover.

Kristopher got up at 5:24, so I went to the computer to look up the article. Eddie said “no, don’t read it there, it’s not the same”, so at 5:30 he got dressed and went to the store and bought 10 papers.
There are a couple of minor mistakes on details in the article, but no big deal. I think it’s great!

We were first told we wouldn’t get any children.
I got one. Then a girl died the second day after birth.
Well, we have 6 living children now. And 4 miscarriages (one of twins)and 2 deceased girls in the past.
I think the article is great. Especially because it makes clear that even though you look bright and happy, you haven’t received these children just like that or take them for granted.
